Areas of focus

If these are areas you are seeking support in, I’m here to work with you to create meaningful change in your life. Whether that’s developing new coping skills to expand your capacity, building more self-compassion and trust, or feeling more connected to yourself ~ we can work together to better understand how your past informs your present and get to the root of your challenges.

Why folks are coming to therapy

Trauma & Anxiety

  • Reminders of past pains make it hard to focus on what’s in front of you

  • You feel disconnected from yourself and the people you love

  • Your mind is constantly filled with worries and fears of what could go wrong

  • Emotions feel overwhelming and out of control

  • You constantly feel on edge and avoid people or places that are important to you

People Pleasing & Perfectionism

  • You’re not sure how to stand up for yourself without feeling like you’re letting others down

  • It’s hard to trust yourself and you often question your choices

  • No matter how much you accomplish, it doesn’t feel like enough

  • You don’t know how to be yourself and be in relation with your family

Belonging Wounds

  • You feel caught in between worlds, being of multiple cultures or identities, and feel unsure where you belong

  • Chronic experiences of being othered or rejected have left you feeling alienated

  • You desire to be understood by the people in your life, but also fear being seen or rejected

  • You feel the need to shapeshift between communities to feel like you’ll be accepted
